In recent years the moll Maximo has been the best-selling children’s swivel chair. The swivel chair Maximo from moll grows not only with the kids but it also offers three adjustments in order to customize it to the individual height and proportions. So kids not only sit comfortably at any time but also all criteria of ergonomics are fulfilled. It prevents back pain and promotes healthy sitting.
Molded cushions, a seat with shock absorbers and oscillating back rest intensify the effect and motivate to keep changing the position instead of remaining static.

The upholstery covers for the cushions can be machine-washed at 40° C and interchanged at any time if needed. Changing the covers requires no tools; just unclip the upholstery, pull off the fabric and restring after wash.
Ergonomic sitting requires adjustment
Research has shown startling figures reporting that around 50% of children from ages 11 to 14 years old suffer from posture disorders. One in every three children in primary school has back pain and 55% of primary school students have trouble concentrating. To prevent this, an ergonomic study area is required.
For a child to sit with the correct posture whilst still relaxing, features such as seat and backrest height and depth adjustment must be made available. Child safety is also built into the Maximo.
The height adjustment on the Moll Maximo ranges from 28 cm all the way to 54 cm, making the chair suitable for user heights between 110 -195 cm (3’6″ – 6’4″) and can also support a weight limit of up to 80 kg. This makes the Maximo chair suitable for use from nursery all the way to university.
The five-star base is wide and evenly distributed to provide stability and safety. The castor wheels are suitable to use on hard floors as well as carpets and feature brakes to prevent the child’s chair from slipping. The castor wheels can be replaced with gliders if necessary.
